American Heritage Girls


American Heritage Girls is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country. The organization offers badge programs, service projects, girl leadership opportunities and outdoor experiences to its members. This program serves girls from ages 5 through 18.

Boy Scouts/Cub Scouts


The Boy Scouts of America provides a program for young men that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and prepares them to be future leaders in our community. They take part in a variety of service projects, camps, and adventure opportunities. The organization offers badge programs to help them learn new skills.

The Catholic Daughters of the Americas is an organization of Catholic women that support charities, award scholarships for students, and provide faith fellowship for members.

Cornerstone Families

Cornerstone Families is Catholic multi-parish young families group. We seek to deepen our Catholic faith and support each other in friendship as we live out our vocations as spouses and parents. We meet twice monthly to share a potluck dinner, pray, discuss the faith, and socialize.

Girl Scouts

Girl Scouts is an organization geared for the development of leaders who value diversity, inclusion, and collaboration and are committed to improving communities and the world. It is open to girls aged 5 through 18.

Giving Hands

Knits and crochets lap blankets to be given to homebound individuals and items for the Infant Layette Program at Catholic Community Services.

Holy League Men's Group

Provides a Holy Hour which incorporates: Eucharistic adoration, prayer, short spiritual reflections, Confession, Benediction and fraternity; promotes the Precepts and Sacraments of the Church; especially through devotion to the Most Blessed Sacrament and the praying of the Most Holy Rosary; and creates a unified front, made up of members of the Church Militant, for spiritual combat. Meets in the church the Thursday before the first Friday of each month. A fraternal hour follows.

Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus is an international Catholic Brotherhood dedicated to the protection of the Catholic family. The St. Mary Magdalen order of the Knights of Columbus is actively involved in parish and community programs, and to the support of vocations.

The St. John's Men's Club is a social/service group based at St. John Mission that provides fellowship and opportunities for spiritual growth and service for men.

Serra Club

The Serra Club is an organization that promotes and fosters vocations to the priesthood and vowed religious life with prayer, financial support and awareness.

St. Vincent de Paul

Assists with short term emergency relief such as rent, mortgage payments, utility payments, food and clothing to all those in need within our parish boundaries and regardless of church affiliation. In addition, St. Mary Magdalen's chapter collects food for Thanksgiving food baskets as well as Christmas food and gift baskets. The St. Vincent de Paul office at our parish is located in the Anna Grace Building behind the church.

Vitae Novae

The Vitae Novae is the parish newsletter. Volunteers are needed to take pictures, write articles and edit items for the newsletter to inform parishioners of events and happenings at St. Mary Magdalen Parish and   St. John Mission.
