Funeral Reception Comittee The Funeral Reception Committee provides funeral receptions for those in the parish that have experienced the loss of a loved one. Gabriel Project The Gabriel Project is a parish-based ministry to women facing crisis pregnancies using trained mentor volunteers, or Gabriel Angels, who support pregnant women by offering the love, care, and spiritual, material, and emotional support they need throughout pregnancy. Giving Hands knits and crochets lap blankets to be given to homebound individuals and items for the Infant Layette Program at Catholic Community Services. Contact: Karen Whooley, 425-385-8138
The Homebound and Sick Ministry provides outreach to our homebound and sick parishioners as well as outreach to those experiencing grief from the loss of a loved one. Contact: Deacon Dave Alcorta or Dora Alcorta,425-353-1211 Respect Life Group The parish pro-life committee assists in a special way by helping to make the parish a center of life, a place where parishioners understand the issues and the importance of meeting the needs of those who are most vulnerable—especially mothers and their unborn children, and those who are seriously ill or dying and their families. Contact: Scholastica Frisinger, 425-214-3837 St. Vincent de Paul St. Vincent de Paul assists with short term emergency relief such as rent, mortgage payments, utility payments, food and clothing to all those in need within our parish boundaries and regardless of church affiliation. In addition, St. Mary Magdalen's chapter collects food for Thanksgiving food baskets and Christmas food and gift baskets.
