Outreach

MINISTRY TO THE SICK AND HOMEBOUND:
Outreach Eucharistic Ministers being the Eucharist to our Catholic parishioners in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and personal homes.

This is a ministry of care and compassion. The volunteers for this ministry are highly trained and must be able to accept the differences of others. They must be Catholics in good standing and must possess spiritual maturity, reverence and devotion for the Eucharist. This ministry is provided in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Tagalog.

MINISTRY FOR THE YOUNG AT HEART:
This ministry is for those that are over 59 (60 and up). This group meets once a month for potluck, music, games, field trips and great fun.

FUNERAL SUPPORT:
Fellowship Reception Ministry: A fellowship reception is offered to the mourners after funeral Mass/Service. Ministry volunteers prepare deli trays and beverages for the mourners in the spirit of support and good fellowship.

Bereavement Letter/Card Ministry: A trained volunteer writes a card or letter to offer spiritual and resource support to the newly bereaved – follow up phone calls.

Share Care Support Group: Offers a welcoming environment to those coping with grief that comes with losing a spouse. The group meets for monthly lunch at local favorite restaurants.
