Altar servers assist the Priest in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, as well as other rites and rituals. These individuals include candle bearers, altar servers, acolytes, crucifers, and thurifers.

Readers proclaim the scriptural readings at Mass, as well as the petitions of the Universal Prayer (Prayers of the Faithful). In addition, they read the greetings and announcements before/after Mass.

The sacristan carefully arranges the liturgical books, the vestments, and other things necessary in preparation for the Sacrifice of Mass and the celebration of the other Sacraments.

Ushers help to seat parishioners for Mass celebrations, assist people with special needs, help in the presentation of the gifts, assist with various collections and distribute bulletins after the conclusion of Mass.
